What is 'Semispecula'
Semispecula project started in 2018 when I was 13 years old where it started with me teaching mathematics with simple animations. It has evolved since then and have progressed a long way. Now, it is mainly focused on physics and mathematics with animations.
Above, it is clear how the channel has evolved over the years. Its trajectory now feels less clear.
History
The first videos on this channel were recorded in Turkish. The first upload was on March 31, 2018, about how we see things. I made this video for a science class project. After that, I recorded videos on topics such as why we dream and why we sneeze when we look at the sun. These videos averaged around 10 to 20 views. About half of those views were mine, and the rest came from a small group of friends.
Later that year, around June, I started animating mathematics content using a minimalistic grey style. These videos explained topics such as factorials and the sigma summation symbol. A few of these performed well and passed ten thousand views. The channel gained wider attention after the Turkish science platform Evrim Ağacı, run by Çağrı Mert Bakırcı, supported my work and shared one of my videos on their website.

Present
Now, new videos on Lucretius, QBism, quantum logic, and related topics will follow.
